This is more of the Ropefish.
He's sort of hard to see because he's always hiding, and when he does
come out on occasion, he moves rather quickly to another hiding
place. I'll keep trying for better pics. |

I can pet both of them, and do so often
to keep them tame. Their diet varies, with feeder goldfish, flake
food, and pellets being alternated. (I've found out, after the
fact that my boyfriend is fond of slipping them a strip of chicken from
time to time.) |

I will post pictures of the rest of my
community fish when they come out of hiding and I am able to capture
them on film/disc. |

This is my Long Fin Tiger Oscar.
He's one of 4 fish currently living in this 47 gallon tank, complete
with hood, cover, fluorescent lighting, and a Penguin BIO Wheel 330
Power Filter. This tank also resides in my living room. He
and his tank mate,

my Albino Tiger Oscar are about
9 inches long each, not including tail fins. These guys are so
full of personality you just can't help but to love them!

There is very little decoration in this
tank, as they insist on tearing it apart. I'm saving to buy more
rock and a few new plastic plants, but they seem to prefer the least
amount of decoration. I am amazed at the coloration in my Albino,
as most that I've seen have lost much of their pretty color as they
grow. This guy seems to only get brighter the bigger he
gets. There are still 2 more fish in this tank, but I have
yet to get any pics. I'll try again in the morning.
